Ballinalack Community Park is delighted to announce that the new walkway will be officially opened by Minister Michael Ring T.D. on Thursday 21st of December next at 3.30pm. We would like to invite the entire community to the opening as it is the culmination of two years of fundraising and hard work to get the walkway completed and paid for. It is also a particularly special event in so far as the scheme is the first Leader Project in the country to be completed and Minister Ring was particularly interested in attending the opening of the first scheme. It is a credit to the community to have supported this project and we would encourage everyone who can to attend on the day.
