Senior
Our Seniors beat
St Pats last Sunday in Easkey on a scoreline of 2-16 to 3-8. That concludes the
Division 2 league for 2018. A very positive league campaign ended up with us
finishing 3rd and narrowly missing out on the league final. The
focus now moves to preparing for the Junior championship over the next number
of weeks.
Junior
Our Junior team
have two games this week. Firstly at home to Calry/St Josephs this Tuesday 17th
at 8pm in Easkey and on Friday 20th July at 8pm down in St Farnans.
Both games are in the Division 4 league.
Senior Hurling
Our Senior
hurlers play Naomh Eoin in round 3 of the championship next Saturday in Easkey
at 7pm. Please support.
Martin Fogarty (
Former Kilkenny coach and selector, also former National hurling development
manager) will take Easkey hurling sessions this weekend, details will follow on
Easkey facebook page.
U16 Football
The
Easkey/Ennsicrone- Kilglass u16s were very impressive in a 7-17 to 2-7 victory
over Eastern Harps in Quigabar last night (Monday 16th) in the B
championship. They play Tourlestrane next Monday the 23rd in
Tourlestrane for round 2.
Rounders
Massive
congratulations to the Easkey u14 Rounders team who won gold at the Connacht
community games last weekend. Well done to the girls and the management team
involved.
Underage Hurling
Our u12 hurlers play Coolera /
Strandhill on Tuesday the 17th July in Scarden at 6.45 pm. Best of
luck!
The Easkey/ St Farnans hurlers play
Benbulben Gaels in the u16 League final in Scarden on Tuesday 17th
too at 8.15pm. Please support our underage hurlers if possible. Underage Hurling training continues during
the week as follows.
