Intermediate
Our
Intermediate team are in second round championship action on Saturday evening
next, August 19th, when they play St Patrick’s in an important game
at Castleconnor. Throw-in is at 7pm. Please support.
Junior B
Our Junior
B footballers endured a difficult start to their championship campaign when
they were beaten by Drumcliffe/Rosses Point, 0-2 to 6-17, at Quigabar last
Sunday. This was the first time the group got together but nonetheless there
were some decent displays around the park as a number of players returned to
the Black and Amber. The lads can still qualify for the knockout stages if they
overcome Castleconnor in the second round on the weekend of September 1st/2nd.
Minor
An
injury-hit Enniscrone-Kilglass/Easkey minor team were well beaten by Shamrock
Gaels in the championship last Thursday evening in Quigabar, 0-8 to 2-19. They
have a break from competitive action this week.
U-16
The Enniscrone-Kilglass/Easkey
U-16s received a walkover from Castleconnor last week. They have an important
fixture on Monday (August 12th) at 7.30pm in Stenson Park as the
championship reaches the business end.
U-14
Our U-14s resume
their championship campaign at home to Tourlestrane on Friday evening (August
18th) at 7pm.
Club lapel pins
There are a
limited number of lapel pins showcasing the club crest – and importantly the
correct spelling of Enniscrone as Gaeilge agus as Béarla – available at
present. They are a quality item that would make a great present, and also show
your support for the upcoming plebiscite on the town name. They are available
from any committee member for €10.
Blotto
The blotto
continues every Sunday night. Your support is greatly appreciated.
