All Ireland Hurling Final.
All Ireland hurling final day will be a special and exciting day for a number of Tubbercurry people. First up is Sean Neary captain of Galway minors and grandson of Padraic and Loretta Neary. In the senior final Marian Gilmartin’s nephew John Hanbury lines out at corner back for Galway’s seniors. And let’s not forget our hurling coach and senior hurler Limerick man Tom Brouder. Here’s hoping for a cracking all Ireland final day.
Croke Park.
Congratulations to Shannon Davey who lined out in Croke Park in the half time exhibition game of the All Ireland sf between Monaghan and Tyrone. Our u12 footballers and coaches also enjoyed the trip to Croker for the sf and to support Shannon..
Meeting.
A very important meeting of Tubbercurry/ Cloonacool Bord na nOg and CT Gaels takes place next Wednesday night the 15th of August at 9pm in Surlis’s Super Valu meeting room. Up for discussion will be feile 2019 which will be hosted by Connacht GAA.
