Congratulations to Easkey/ St. Farnan's under 16 hurlers on winning the county championship on Saturday last. They defeated Naomh Eoin by 6-15 to 1-6. St. Farnan's players on the team were Tommy Esler, Niall Hallinan, Shane Molloy, Adam Kilrehill, Kenneth Mitchell, James Golden, Fionn Connolly and Thomas Cawley. The team will compete in the Connaught championship with their first game against the Leitrim champions.
Good luck to our Junior team who play the final of the Junior B championship on Friday night against Drumcliffe/ Rosses Point in Scarden at 8pm. Please support.
On Saturday our under 21 team play Coolaney/ Mullinabreena in the first round of the B championship at 4pm in Nace O'Dowd Park.
On Sunday Easkey/ St. Farnan's under 13 Féile football team play Curry in the semi final of the C Féile in Easkey at 11am.
Good luck to our hurlers with Easkey senior hurling team in the semi final of the Championship against Coolera /Strandhill on Sunday at 12noon in Tourlestrane.Good luck to Fionn Connolly and Sligo under16 team in the Manning Cup game on Saturday.
Preparations are going well for our dancers who are taking part in Strictly Come Dancing on November 10 in the Diamond Coast Hotel. This week there are two fundraisers organised by the dancers. On Friday Christine Kilcullen and Enda Moylan host a table quiz in Mc Gowan's, Easkey at 9pm. On Saturday Keelin Gibson and Eoghan Rua Mc Gowan have a car wash at Feeney's from 10am. All the dancers also have sponsorship cards. Please support and help provide the club with much needed funds.
