Seniors – Ballymote senior team are away to St Molaise Gaels Easter Sunday in the second round of the league, throw-in 3pm.

Sligo Minors Victory -  Congratulations to the Sligo Minor team who beat Down by 1-9 to 1-8 in Clones on Saturday to claim the Jim Mc Guigan Ulster minor league shield title for 2019. Sligo had trailed at half-time by 1-4 to 0-3 but secured victory with a goal near the end. Sligo minors took part in the Ulster minor league this year as there was no Connacht minor football league. In the group phase, Sligo had wins against Donegal and Fermanagh, a draw with Cavan. They were beaten by a point by Tyrone,  who went on to win the Jim Mc Guigan Cup with an extra-time win against Monaghan. Ballymote/Bunninadden club were represented by players Jack Lavin, Conor Finn, Roland Scanlon, Oisin Gorman and manager Liam Og Gormely.

U18 - Ballymote/Bunninadden play St Farnan’s/St Patrick’s Easter Monday evening in Bunninadden Community Park , throw in 6.30pm.

U16 – Ballymote/Bunninadden and St Mary’s served up a goal fest on Monday 8th April in Corran park. Despite a strong second half showing from the home team, St Mary’s held on to win by a score line of 6-09 to 5-06. Next game is away to Geevagh /St Michaels on 17 April, throw-in 7pm.

U12 – The Ballymote/Bunninadden U12 teams play St Molaise Gaels in home games on Tuesday 16 April, Throw-in 6.30 pm.

U8 & U10 – The U8 and U10 boys and girls participated in a 5 club blitz hosted by Owenmore Gaels on Wednesday 10 April. They competed well in all the games they played. The league for this age group starts 24 April with an away game to St Farnan’s.

 

Easter Camp – The club is hosting an Easter camp in Corran Park for 6 – 12 year olds. Cost is 25 euro per child and it runs from 10 – 2.30 pm on 25 and 26 April. Contact is Liam Og Gormely on 086 8254420 if further details needed.
