Our eagerly awaited Race Night is on Easter Sunday night at 9pm in The Beach Bar. A big thank you to the businesses, groups and individuals who have sponsored races on the night. Details of sponsors can be found on the club Facebook and Twitter accounts. We ask for your continued support of our sponsors . The club appreciates the generosity shown by the sponsors and public for this fundraiser. All are welcome to attend the function which promises to be a great night's entertainment. Our 50/50 draw will also take place at the Race Night.
The under 21 B semi final proved to be a disappointing occasion for St. Farnan's as despite a fine score of 2-16, we lost to Owenmore Gaels who finished with 4-12. This was a very entertaining game with both sides working very hard to achieve victory. St. Farnan's had chances but it was Owenmore Gaels who got two late points  to get the place in the final.
Easkey/ St. Farnan's under 16 team were defeated in the A league by Tourlestrane by 6-9 to 1-5. On Thursday the hurlers with Easkey were narrowly defeated by Castleconnor on a score of 4-8 to 5-3.
On Sunday our intermediate team play Buninadden at 3pm in Templeboy. On Monday in senior hurling both Easkey and Western Gaels are in league semi finals. On Monday at 6.30 St. Farnan's/ St. Pat's play Ballymote/ Buninadden in Buninadden in the second round of the A league.
A presentation to the Lory Meagher and Celtic Challenge teams will take place in the Clayton Hotel on Saturday, April 27. A number of St. Farnan's players will be receiving medals on the night. Special guest is Derek Mc Grath. Tickets €30. All welcome.
We wish all involved with the club a very Happy Easter
