SFL D1: St.Molaise Gaels 1-12 v Curry 1-11
This was a hardearned win for the home side at Monsignor Hynes Park on Saturday night as a Curry side inspired by a superb individual display from Aidrian Marren almost snatched a share of the spoils.

Alan Reilly got  the visitors off to a whirlwind start with a goal and a point in the first two minutes but a Keelan Watters scrambled goal in the 15th minute settled the home side who lead by 1-07 to 1-04 at the interval with Diarmuid Gallagher contributing two points from play.

The second half was a scrappy affair and despite the promptings of Marren who finished the game with a personal tally of 0-08 the visitors just could not find the necessary scores to take something from the game. The game was played at a frantic pace throughout and well handled by referee Gus Chapman.
