Under 16 Boys On Mon 13th our boys took on neighbours Calry-St Josephs in Stenson Park, Cuilbeg, and were successful in winning by 4 – 9 to 2 – 5. They now qualify for the semi-final of the League, the opposition, date, venue and time will be available on Sligo GAA fixtures page.

Under 14 Boys Our boys had another fine victory on Wed last in Stenson park when they defeated visitors Shamrock Gaels by 10 – 9 to 4 - 4

Under 12 Boys Our two Under 12 teams welcome Drumcliffe- Rosses Point to Stenson Park, Cuilbeg on Tues 14th for their Div 1 and 3 fixtures

GIRLS FOOTBALL; Our Under 12 girls had two games last week with mixed results. On Monday 6th they played St Molaise Gaels, Grange and were unlucky to be defeated by 2 points on a scoreline of 0 – 8 to 0 – 6. The girls put in a fine performance, with great team-work and not a little skill. They gave everything in the game and fought hard right to the final whistle and can be proud of themselves. They took to the field again on Friday evening when they travelled to Coola to take on the home team, Shamrock Gaels. In this game, our girls produced a great team performance, playing some very stylish football against a strong, well-organised Gaels team and St Johns won out by 0 – 11 to 0 – 6. This result means that the team have qualified for the League semi-final which will be played on Friday May 24th. Well done to the girls and their coaches and a special thanks, once again, to the parents for their wonderful support of the girls – it really makes a difference
