Our Intermediate
team have another important league fixture next Sunday morning at 11am away to
Calry/St Joseph’s. Best of luck to the players and management. Please support

Junior B
Our Junior
B team suffered a 3-14 to 1-12 defeat in Geevagh last Friday. Despite a poor
first half, the lads rallied after half-time and showed well at stages. They
have no game next weekend – their next outing is the following weekend at home
to Castleconnor.
U-14
Our U-14s had
a good win over Calry/St Joseph’s on Thursday evening at Quigabar, 4-13 to 1-3.
They have topped their group and now progress to the knockout stages. Well done
lads. They have a busy time coming up – for the Feile Peil na nÓg on the last
weekend in June we will be hosting the St Manchan’s club from Offaly. More
details later.
U-12
Well done
to our U-12 footballers on securing a 0-17 to 0-7 win over Shamrock Gaels on
Wednesday evening last in difficult conditions at Quigabar. They play St Pats
on Tuesday evening at 7pm in Dromard.
Nursery
Our Under 6 GAA
nursery program starts Monday June 10th from 6.15pm to 7pm at indoor Astro turf
in Quigabar. This is for boys and girls born in 2013 & 2014. Can kids wear
appropriate gear and bring bottle of water. All welcome
County scene

to Michael Duffy and his Sligo minor team – including Gavin Duffy and Oisin
Hynes – in their Connacht Championship match against Leitrim next Friday
evening in Carrick-on-Shannon. Good luck also to Eoin Hallinan, Josh Ellis and
the Sligo U-20s in the Philly McGuinness Cup final on Saturday at 3pm in
Mohill. Congratulations to the Sligo hurlers, who have will play in Croke Park
the weekend after next in the Nicky Rackard Cup final after a brilliant
semi-final win over Warwickshire last weekend. Best wishes to the team and
management in the final.

The blotto
draw continues every Saturday night. There was no winner of last week’s jackpot,
so next week’s draw will be for €4000. Thanks to all players for the continued
