The junior team made it three wins out of three in the league when they defeated Drumcliffe/ Rosses Point on a score of 2-18 to 0-10 in Oxfield on Friday last. Their next game is against St. Mary's in a fortnight's time.
The intermediate team face local rivals Easkey on Sunday next at 11am in Templeboy.
On Thursday the u14 hurlers are in action. On Friday Easkey/St Farnan's u 12 teams play St. John's in Stenson Park.
Gerry Boland (postman) was the winner of €169 in the 50 /50 draw. Next draw on Sunday, June 16. Thanks to Gerry Beglin of The Flying Horse for facilitating the draw.
Preparations are underway for this year's Féile on June 28,29 and 30. Easkey/ St Farnan's will host Patrick Rankin from Armagh, an amalgamated team from Shane O'Neill's, Redmond O'Hanlons and Thomas Davis clubs . We look forward to having the team on that weekend. Thanks to  all who have supported the team in their preparations to date.
Congratulations to James Weir who captained the Sligo hurlers to a win in the semi final of the Nicky Rackard championship and to Dónall Hanley and Sean Hallinan who are  also on the panel. The team will play Armagh in the final in Croke Park on Saturday, June 22.
Good luck to Thomas Cawley, Shane Molloy, Fionn Connolly and Kenneth Mitchell who play with Sligo u 17 hurlers against Monaghan in the quarter final of the Celtic Challenge on Saturday in Belnaleck, Fermanagh at 1pm.
Best wishes to Ciaran O'Connor, coach with Sligo u20 team in the final of the Philly Mc Guinness competition against Tyrone on Saturday and to Fionn Connolly and Sligo minor team in their game against Leitrim on Friday.
There will be a Ball Wall fundraiser on Sunday at St. Mary's clubhouse at 11.30. There will be a breakfast on offer with a chance to meet with the Sligo senior hurling team. Cost €10 per adult, €3 for children. All support welcomed.
Congrats to Maria O'Connell who was part of the Sligo Leitrim u 13 team which won the Roddy Gaynor Cup.Good luck to Maria and her team mates from St. Joseph's NS in the Cumann na mBunscol 2teacher girls final on Saturday.
