The Junior team played St Molaise Geals in the final round of the league on Sunday. St Michael’s won well with a score line of 4-16 to 2-10. The team on duty was K Crawley. G Walsh. C McTiernan. C Feeney. P Flanagan. G McGowan (1-0). J Haran. K Carty (0-1). P McTiernan. R Walsh (1-4). S Clancy. Stephen Clerkin (1-0). B Taaffe (0-6). J Mackey (0-5). K Harte. Subs: A Taaffe (1-0). C McGowan. J Clerkin. Training continues as usual all players are asked to attend. 

Our U12 girls did well to field a team last Friday despite so many being away. All girls on duty gave a very good account of themselves with Lauren Hynes giving another masterful display at midfield, and an especially fine score by Aoibhe Halpin from a well earned free. 
The girls are on duty again at 19.00 this Friday at home to Geevagh.

Our U14 girls got there Championship campaign off to a start with a home game against Calry/St Josephs. We started the game very well with a few very well taken scores going in to half time with a good lead. Calry came out very hard in the 2nd half and levelled the game. Calry kept coming at us and went 4 clear but our girls dug deep to finish the game level. Team as follows 1 Erin Tighe 2 Alannah O Brien  3 Saoirse O Hara 4 Brianna Quinn 5 Aoife Conway 6 Chloe Mc Gowan 7 Alannah Dorey 8 Ella Blake (0.1)  9 Claire Mc Goldrick 10 Siobhan Mc Kenny (1.0) 11 Bonnie Maguire 12 Lauren Hynes (0.4) 13 Ava O Brien 14 Kacey Mc Cormack (2.2) 15 Ellen Coen  Game finished on a scoreline of 3-7 to 4-4. The girls next game is away to Ballisodare on Monday 22nd July, please support. 

Our senior ladies had no game this weekend, training continues as normal. Next fixture in Championship is home game to Owenmore Gaels on Sunday 11th August at 10:30am.

St Michael’s Kellogg's Cul Camp takes place this week in St Michael’s on Ballintogher pitch 

The under 10 training takes place on Saturday mornings at 10am on the pitch. Under 8 training is at 7pm on Wednesday’s.

 Congratulations to Sooey N.S.Debating team who won the Regionals Debating Final last month representing Sligo, beating Drumlease N.S. representing Leitrim.This is the first time a Sligo team has won this title. The three speakers were Niamh Kelly, Leo Kennedy and Eoin Taheny. Eoin also won 'Best Speaker' award on the day.
