Intermediate

Our Intermediate team lost out to St Farnan’s by a point, 1-16 to 2-12, in last Sunday’s final round league encounter at Templeboy. A very poor first half saw our lads trail at one stage by 1-9 to 0-2, but three late points in the first half left the half-time score at 1-9 to 0-5. To their credit, our lads battled hard in the second period but couldn’t edge ahead. However, the second half comeback was crucial as we retained our league status on scoring difference by a margin of three points. The lads now switch their attention to the championship which begins on the weekend of July 27th/28th against St John’s.

Junior B

Our Junior B footballers were forced to hand a walkover to St Mary’s for last Friday’s league semi-final fixture. The team now look ahead to the championship, which begins in the coming weeks.

Minor

The Enniscrone-Kilglass/Easkey minor footballers played out a cracking first round contest against Ballymote/Bunninadden in the Minor A Championship but lost out by 2-18 to 2-16. Their next assignment is at home to St Molaise Gaels on Thursday, July 25th.

U-16

Our U-16s begin their C Championship campaign on Monday, July 22nd at home to St Patrick’s.

U-14

Our U-14s take on Castleconnor in the opening round of the B Championship this Friday (July 19th) at 7pm in Corballa.
