The Junior team had no game this weekend.  We take to the field in our first outing of the Junior Championship on the 11th August at 1pm in Tubbercurry against Cloonacool.     Training continues as usual all players are asked to attend.

Our senior ladies had no game this weekend, training continues as normal. Next fixture in Championship is home game to Owenmore Gaels on Sunday 11th August at 10:30am.

Our under 10 had a great evening at the county under 10 blitz on Wednesday inn Scarden. In game 1 they really put it up to Tourlastrane and won well in second game against Easkey. They are improving every week and Connor Maguire won best player of 2 games.
The under 10 training takes place on Saturday mornings at 10am on the pitch. Under 8 training is at 7pm on Wednesday’s.

The Minors took to the field on Thursday  25th at 7pm in Ballintogher in the Championship against Castleconnor. The St Michael’s/ Geevagh team won the game by one point with a score line of 4-16 to 6-9. Their next outing was Tourlastrane where they ran out winners by the minimum margin of 1 point. On Thursday night next 8/8/19 they play Tubbercurry/ Cloonacool in Tubbercurry at 7pm.

The Under 16’s lost out to near neighbours Shamrock Geals by a scorelinr of 5-10 to 3-12.

The Under 14’s lost out by the narrowest of margins to Owenmore Geals with a score line of 5-7 to 4-9.

The Under 12’s play St John’s on Tuesday 13/8/19 at 7pm in Stenson Park.

First Bi-Annual Lotto members draw took place on Saturday night after main draw in Morans.   First prize €500 Anthony McKeon Ballygawley. Second prize €250 Gavin McGowan. Third prize €100 voucher for Castledargan Carol McCormack Kilross. Thank you to all who support our club lotto.

The club wish to express sympathy to the following families on their recent bereavements. The Judge Family Ballygawley on the death of Bridie Judge. The McDonagh Family Geevagh and Ward Family Kilross on the death of Carmel’s brother Peter McDonagh Geevagh. The Gunning Family Scarden on the death of Michael Gunning. The club has been shocked by the sudden and unexpected death of former member of the 1992 Championship team Fintan Clancy. Fintan played all his career with St Michael’s. To his brothers Padraig, Sean and Jim, his sisters Mary, Geraldine and Sharøn. His in laws nephews and nieces and all his extended family we offer our sincere condolences.
