Intermediate
Our
Intermediate team secured their third win in the group stage of the
championship with a hard-earned 1-9 to 0-9 win over St Patrick’s in
Castleconnor last Saturday evening. In dreadful conditions, our lads did just
enough to end as winners. They have a break in competitive action now until
September 7th/8th, as focus switches to their last group
match against Bunninadden.
Junior B
Our Junior
B footballers put in a good display to get their first win of the championship
on Sunday evening at Quigabar, overcoming Castleconnor by two points, 2-9 to
2-7. With one win from their two group games, the lads now need other results
to go their way to progress to the knockout stages.
Minor
The
Enniscrone-Kilglass/Easkey minor team beat Shamrock Gaels by three points, 0-11
to 0-8, in the championship last Thursday evening. Their final group game is
against St Farnan’s/St Patrick’s in September.
U-16
Our U-16s
play Coolaney/Mullinabreena at home on Monday, August 12th at 7pm.
U-14
Our U-14s produced
a good display to beat St Patrick’s by 4-8 to 2-11 in Dromard last Thursday. With
their three groups matches now played, the lads are guaranteed to top the group
with three wins. Details of the knockout stages will be confirmed in due
course.
U-12
Our U-12s play
Eastern Harps in the semi-final on Friday evening at 7pm in Quigabar. Good luck
to the players and management.
