It finished all square for the second week in a row for the intermediate team when they drew with Easkey on Sunday last. The final score was Easkey 1-12, St. Farnan's 0-15.
St. Farnan's/ St. Pat's minor team were narrowly defeated by St. Molaise Gaels in the minor A championship on Thursday last by 3-8 to 1-12. Easkey/ St Farnan's minor hurling team played Naomh Eoin on Thursday in the minor hurling championship and had a convincing win on a score of 6-20 to 2-10. On Wednesday both Western Gaels and Easkey hurlers had wins in the semi finals of the Martin Brennan Cup and they will now face each other in the final on September 4. Easkey/ St. Farnan's u14 hurlers play Coolera/ Strandhill on Friday at 7 pm in Easkey.
Deirdre and Róisín Kilgannon (yearly ticket) were the winners of €182 in the 50/ 50 draw. Next draw on Sunday, August 25. Shane Molloy and Ronan Hynes were the winners of the members draw to purchase a pair of All Ireland Hurling final tickets.
