Last round of games in the championship and only one team eliminated. Something to play for in all games in what has been an excellent championship so far with a lot of draws

Coolera/Strandhill v Easkey
The tie of the round with so much at stake for both teams. Will the county champions not make the semi finals. Easkey were expected to already be qualified. Joe McHugh has been shooting the lights out since his return from across the water but Coolera have Larry Cadden back too. Will Kevin Banks be able to keep the Easkey attack at bay, he will need help and any frees will be punished. Eoin Comerford has been coming back to form in the last few games and will need a game like he played v Cavan earlier in the year to match McHugh. This is a game where Rory McHugh could let the shackles off and if that happens the men from the west should make their place in the semifinals and have Coolera looking for an update from Kent park.

Easkey

Tourlestrane v Calry/St.Joseph's
Calry need to win. Tourlestrane are out but they have a huge pride in their hurling in South Sligo. They have managed to blood in a few young lads during the championship. However Calry need this more and will be expected to continue on the upward curve of the last few weeks.

Calry

Naomh Eoin v Western Gaels
Naomh Eoin are the only team who know they are through to the semi finals next weekend. Western Gaels have been in touch for all games, but have never been able to control a game. They need a result here or else they like Coolera or Easkey will be looking for each others results. Reaching the final last year has toughened up the town team and with them providing so many members to the Nicky Rackard squad they should have too much for the Westerners
