Sligo GAA offer it's sympathies to the family of Peter James Brennan R.I.P.
Peter, a native of Roadstown, Bunninadden, worked and lived most of his life in Tubbercurry. He became an invaluable member of the local G.A.A. Club and won a Senior County Championship medal with them in 1976.

His 1st outing with the Sligo Senior Team was in 1967. He was a regular on the team for many years, first as Goalkeeper and later in the full forward position. The highlight of that time must have been May 5th 1968 when Sligo drew with Kildare in the National League Semi-Final in Croke Park.

He enjoyed the honour of being picked on the Railway Cup Teams of 1969-71-72, winning a Railway Cup medal in 1969.
