Fixtures/Results:

Well done to our Senior Footballers who defeated Owenmore Gaels in the League on Saturday evening. Playing into the breeze in the 1st half, Easkey made a slow start and found themselves 5 points in arrears mid-way through the half but an Andrew Kilcullen goal reduced the deficit as Easkey trailed by 2 points at half time. Easkey narrowed the lead to just a point shortly after the break but Owenmore Gaels quickly extended the lead out to 9 points with 2 goals, 1 of which came from the penalty spot followed by 2 quick points. Easkey looked in trouble, however they didn’t panic and tapped on a few points to reduce the deficit before 2 goals from Joe McHugh and another goal for Andrew Kilcullen turned a 9 point deficit into an 8 point lead in a little under 20 minutes. Owenmore Gaels got the final score of the game to leave the final score 4-16 to 3-12
