Team of the week goes to the U14 girls who had a great win over Eoghan Rua in the A Shield Final on Saturday in Scarden. The final score was 2-7 to 2-2. The team was: Katelyn Costello, Muireann Bruen, Aalessha Sweeney, Orla Jane Feakins, Sophia Rose Henry, Ava Lyons (1-2), Leah Coleman, Penny Barlow, Katie Gilligan, Roisin Kelly (0-1), Marissa Hamilton, Molly Kearns-Chapman 
(0-1), Aisling Dwyer (1-2), Hannah Rainey, Aoibhinn Conlon (0-1) subs: Emma White, Ava Kennedy and Alanna Mullen. 
Hard luck to Sligo Senior team and management against Cavan on Sunday and to Evan Lyons and David Quinn who have given us plenty to cheer about this year. We also wish Pat Hughes, who announced his retirement from county football today, the best of luck - he has been a great servant to Sligo GAA for the last ten years and we wish him well.

The Senior Div 1 team play St Farnans away on Friday at 8.00PM in the 5th round of the league. 
The Senior Div 3 team play Castleconnor away on Saturday at 7.00PM.
The Senior Div 4 team play Easkey at home on Sunday at 1.00PM.
The U17 boys play Drumcliffe/Rosses Point on Tuesday at home at 8PM. 
The U13 boys had a good 2-15 to 1-12 win over Coolera/Strandhill last Tuesday in the A Shield semi-final. The team was: Eli Rogers, Sean Tonry, Alan Óg Henry, Jack Burns, Joseph O'Connor, Ethan Medas (0-1), Miceal Garry (0-2), Evan Wimsey (0-2), Eoghan Conboy, Cillian Barlow (1-0), Josh McTiernan (0-1), Daniel Kearns (0-3), Clive Barlow, David Malone (1-6), Eoin Feeney subs used: Oran Conway, Dillion Barrett and Sam Rainey. They now play Drumcliffe/Rosses Point on Friday in the A Shield final in Scarden at 8PM.
The U11 boys had a busy week with games against St John's and Boyle with some great skill on display both evenings. They now play Drumcliffe/Rosses Point on Tuesday at home at 6.30PM.
The U10 girls had games against Geevagh and St John's this week while the U8 girls played St Mary's and St John's all games were very enjoyable and the girl's progression is clear to see week to week.
The U9 boys had good games v St John's at home on Wednesday and they play Drumcliffe/Rosses Point this Wednesday away at 7PM.
The club wish to express sympathy with the family and relatives of Johnny Tuohy, Ross Road, Riverstown who passed away last week. Johnny's children, grandchildren and great grandchildren have had and continue to have a significant impact on all of the club's activities both on and off the pitch for the last fifty years.
