Healthy Club Launch: 

A date for the diary, we will be launching our participation in the healthy clubs initiative at the club grounds on Saturday July 2nd at 11am. Everyone is welcome to attend, so please come along and find out more about our healthy clubs initiative. 

We would also like to hear from the whole community, on what they would like to see us get involved in e.g. mental health, physical exercise, healthy eating, inclusiveness etc. Also a short simple survey will be sent out to all shortly so please have your say. 

 

Fixtures/Results:   

Well done to our Intermediate footballers who defeated Enniscrone/Kilglass in the 5th round of the league on Friday evening on a scoreline of 1-12 to 1-07.

Subs used: Jonathon Conway, Noel McGuire, Brendan McGrath, Dylan Sloyan 

Their next game is at home to Eastern Harps this Sunday at 1 pm 

 

Well done to Easkey/St Farnan’s u17 footballers who beat Calry/St Joseph’s by 3-19 to 2-09 in the final round of the league on Tuesday. They finish top of their group and have qualified for the Semi Finals.  

 

Hard luck to our u17 hurlers who lost out to St Ciaran’s (Mayo) in the Tain Óg league on Monday. It’s another busy week for our u17 hurlers who take on Calry/St Joseph’s in the Shield semi final on Tuesday (this evening) at 7pm in Easkey and then take on Carrick in the Tain Óg league on Monday at 7pm in Easkey. 

  

Well done to our u9/u11 footballers who played Bunninadden last Wednesday with some great games and skills on show. 

 

It’s also a busy week for our Senior hurlers who take on Toreen in the final group game of the CúChulainn League on Thursday at 8pm and on Saturday they play Coolera/Strandhill in the 2nd round of the hurling championship at 7pm in Easkey. 

 

Best of luck to Easkey/St Farnan’s u19s who play Calry/St Jospeh’s on Wednesday at 7.30pm in Calry. 

 

Best of luck to our u15 hurlers who play Drumcliffe/Rosses Point in the league semi final on Thursday at 7pm in Drumcliffe. 

 

On Tuesday our u9/u11 hurlers are away to Western Gaels at 6.30pm meanwhile on Wednesday our u7 footballers play St Farnan’s at 7pm in Easkey.

Well done to Sligo u16 footballers who topped their group after beating Clare in the Fr Manning Cup on Sunday . 

  

Cúl Camps:  

The 2022 Kellogg’s GAA Cúl Camp takes place from the 4th to 8th July in Easkey. Registration is now open. www.kelloggsculcamps.gaa.ie 

  

Lotto:  

Numbers drawn in the Easkey/Eoghan Rua lotto on the 27th June were 10, 11, 16, 38,. There was no winner, and the 5 consolation prize winners Seamus & Eileen Cawley, Patricia & Jerry Browne, Owen Feeney, Michael Kelly, Caragh Nivard. Next week’s jackpot is €5,200.
