Well done to the Tubbercurry/Cloonacool under 21 team who had a good win over Easkey/St. Farnans in the B championship semi-final on Saturday last.  Played in dry but windy conditions our lads faced the breeze in the first half.  We dominated possession but the strong wind made it difficult to convert our chances.  An opportunist goal from James King after a high ball dropped in the square seen us take a one-point lead with fifteen minutes gone, 1-0 to 0-2.  A good point from Ben Henry from play and an excellent long range free from Aaron Perry completed our scoring in the first half.  Easkey/St. Farnans responded with four well taken points from frees to take the lead at half time on a score line of 0-6 to 1-2.  Our lads got to work in the second half and began to work the scoreboard.  A number of well taken points from Conor Matthews along with a well taken team goal finished by the same player seen us take a good lead.  Late points from substitute Josh Flynn and Aaron Perry sealed a good win on a scoreline of 2-10 to 0-9.  Team on duty: Rhys Henry, Eoin O'Donnell, Adam O'Donnell, Liam Carty, Jimmy McDonagh, Jack Flatley, Tomas Grismanauskas, Eoin Carty, Seán Carnahan, Riain Moylan, Aaron Perry, James King, Conor Matthews, Ben Henry, Shane Prendergast.  Subs: Michael Clifford, Josh Flynn, Fionn Lucey (used) TJ O'Hara, Kevin Carnahan, Diarmuid Henry, Keelan Moylan, Daniel Flatley.
They now play Curry in the Championship Final on Saturday 19th of November at 2pm in Bunninadden.  All support appreciated for the lads.
Our club AGM will take place on Sunday 27th of November at 4pm at the community park.  All members are encouraged to attend.  A strong team running the affairs of the club is very important for the club and if you can help out even in a small way, please make the effort to attend.
