P.Pupils 86/87 of St Nathy's Ballaghaderreen
As part of St Nathys College 200th anniversary celebrations, a number of class reunions are taking place to mark this special event.

One such reunion at the Ballaghaderreen school will involve the getting together of the Leaving Certificate classes of 1986 and 1987 on Friday, August 6th - one of the main weekends of the Bicentenary celebrations. Numerous Sligo students attended the college.

1987 Leaving Cert student Gabriel Kelly, one of the organisers of this reunion, is extending a warm invite to all past pupils from these particular years to take a trip down memory lane with former classmates.

"Friday, August 6th is an opportunity for many of us to get together for the first time in almost 25 years. It'll be a chance for all of us to indulge in a little nostalgia and share some old memories of those times in St Nathys. We envisage first meeting up between 3 and 4 pm at the college, otherwise those who cannot make it for this time of the day can hook up with us later in the evening," explained the Ballintubber native.

Anybody interesting in coming along can contact Gabriel on 00 44 (0)168868180 or mobile 00 44 (0)7956 533 725; Email address: gabriel@hansonregan.com

St Nathy’s has been marking the bicentenary with a year-long series of events. Other events include the launch of a book 'Memories of Past Pupils' on Friday, August 6th at 7 pm and a documentary premiere on the college's history on Sunday, August 8th. In December, a college history, written by Xandra Kilduff, will be launched.
