Senior Hurling League title
What a win for Tourlestrane over Calry the standard bearers of hurling in the county for a decade. This first for the club since 1985 was not a fluke and rewards the hard training done early in the year and the careful nursing of homegrown talent over the past year - from little acorns great oaks grow!.

Frank
Very dissapointed with the results of our two county championship winning teams in the connacht championship. Is the standard in Sligo really that bad? I genuinely thought they would put on a much better show. Maybe it's attitude towards connacht rather than quality, or a mix of both.

Sligo Manager
There is no candidate in west Sligo. Maybe a certain Connacht winning captain from Easkey could play a part but apart from that there is only one contender. Willie Gormley is one hundred percent the man for the job after what he has done at Tubber and that comes from a Curry man. Also, sympathies to Willie and his family.

Sligo Manager
I Agree with Michael A.Its time Sligo have a Manager from the West side of the County and a local.Managers from outside Sligo dont have the same commitment.Anyway good luck to whoever you Select.

Great achievement Pat
Great achievement to Pat and all the panel on reaching the Qualifiers Round 4 last Saturday in Tullamore. Sligo were up against a good Cork team on the day. It was great to see the big turn out of Sligo supporters in Tullamore. Best of luck to all for the future. Seamus (Athlone)
