Fixtures and Results

U13 boys played Shamrock Gaels at home last Monday evening. Shamrock Gaels proved to be strong contenders who were the deserved winners on the night despite a spirited effort from our boys. The boys are out again this week at home on Wednesday evening @7pm against Coolera/Strandhill.

The U16 girls played away in Calry last Wednesday evening and unfortunately it was not their day coming up against a strong effort from Calry.

Our senior men were out against St. Farnan's on Friday evening in a tight even contest that ended in a draw, 1-09 to 1-09. The men take on Easkey this Sunday away @2pm.

The ladies team met Eoghan Rua at home on Monday morning. Despite a tremendous effort from the ladies particularly in the second half Eoghan Rua were the deserved winners on the day. The ladies are back in action away to St. Molaise Gaels, Saturday evening 7pm.

Congratulations

Well done to Diarmuid Clarke who made his first appearance for Sligo this week at an U14 Blitz on Saturday.

The club would like to congratulate Lauren Cadden on her fantastic achievement of running for Ireland in the World Athletic Relay 4 x400m Finals this weekend. Lauren put in a great shift with a time of 53.09 for her split. The team have also qualified to head to the Olympics in Paris this Summer.
