GAA Social on Saturday 9th March in the Community Concert with a great evening of dance and craic with PJ Reilly. Transport available, call 096 36515.

 

Fundraising meeting on Thursday 7th at 9pm in the Community Centre, please attend if you can.

 

Our Seniors start their season in the warm up league against Castleconnor on Saturday at 4.30pm. Training continues on Tuesday and Thursday.

 

Out U16s have their first game, away to Shamrock Gaels on Sunday at 11.30am. Training continues Thursday evenings.

 

U8 & U10 training continues on Saturdays at 10am. Club registration is now due so please contact any club officer or your team manager.

An enjoyable evening was had at the Easkey/St.Farnans Hurling Presentation held last Saturday night in Easkey Community Centre. More than 60 young people from u8 to u16, received their medals. Awards on display to the packed house, included the All-Ireland Feile Shield, the u14 All-Ireland Tony Forrestal Plate, the u14 League and Championship Cups, the u12 Championship Cup, The Aodh O'Dalaigh u12 Shield, Cumann na mBunscoil awards, and the u11 and u13 Indoor Awards.Thanks to Gerry O’Connor, County Board Secretary who presented the medals. Thank you also to Brian of The Coast Cafe, and to everyone who organised the event.

Best wishes to the Killeenduff committee who are holding a St. Patricks Irish Culture Weekend, with a concert, siul agus caint le cheile, Aifreann tradisiunta, leprechaun hunt, sean-nos dancing and music workshops, and music sessions over the weekend.

Bi-lingual Table Quiz takes place this Friday 6th in The Fishermans Weir, Easkey.
