We wish all of our county U14 and U16 hurlers every success in the All-Ireland B blitz
competitions which take place in Co. Down on Sat. next Aug. 31st.
A lot of preparation work has gone into getting the two teams into peak condition for this major event.
The U14 lads are in a play-off group with Wicklow and Donegal while the U16's are in a group
with Mayo and Tyrone. Pls. see below for further details on this:

'Down GAA host National Hurling Blitz this Saturday

The 2013 National U14 & U16 Hurling Blitz will take place in Newry this Saturday 31st August.

In total 25 teams from all over Ireland will travel to Newry to compete in the 2013 National GAA competition.  13 U14 Counties and 12 U16 Counties.

The Blitz will commences at 10.00 am with group games taking place in The Abbey CBS & St. Colman's College.  Finals are due to take place in Pairc Esler, Newry from around 2.30pm with the U14 Cup final due to start at 3.40pm and the U16 Cup final set for 4.30pm. '
