The county finals of Scór na nÓg will take place on Sunday January 5th at 2pm in Carraroe Hall. Scór offers our members a chance to show their talents on stage in a variety of different competitions. It plays an important part of the GAA's calender and a County or All-Ireland medal in Scór is just as highly regarded as one in Football or Hurling.

The running order of competitions on the afternoon is as follows

Rince Foirne: Ceili or Figure Dancing
Amhránaíoch Aonair: Solo Singing
Aithriseoireacht: Recitation
Ceol Uirlise: Instrumental Music Group
SOS
Léiriú: Short Drama Production
Bailéad Ghrúpa: Ballad Group
Rince Seit: Set Dancing.

All competitors must be under the age of 17 on January 1st 2014.

We are asking that each club would enter at least one competition this year.

There have been a number of rule changes this year and please see the rule book at this link http://www.gaa.ie/about-the-gaa/cultur-agus-gaeilge/scor/
