We now know who will be representing SLIGO IN JUVENILE B FINALS in Ballaghadereen or Lisacol next Monday 21st. the following games were played today in Bofield;
U12s boy Conor Finn (sligo)  V  Lorcan Conlon (mayo)
              8-15    3-15
This game was tighter than the score reflects in the 1st Conor could have taken it but for a few mistakes .in the 2nd it was quite even at the beginning but Lorcan Conlon took control in the end .

U13s boy Colm (sligo)    V    Rory Cullen (mayo)
                   6-15      13-15
this was a game that either player could have won Rory was the stronger player but he made some mistakes that could suffer if playing a stronger player. Colm played to his strength and should have won the 2nd game.

U15s boy Odhran Quinn (sligo)  V  Jake Doherty (mayo)
                      15-4      15-3
this was a one sided game and if Odhran was a bit more clinical the score would have being worse for Jake. Odhran needs to be sharper & on his toes to win this final on Monday.

U15d boy James Boland & Micheal Cahill V  Aaron Barry & Ronan Molloy
                              Sligo                                   Mayo
                          8-15                        7-15
This was a game that both set of players could have won and the Sligo players should have made hay when they were 7 nil up but they were found wanting , the Mayo lads got into their stride and won both games when they were there for Sligo.

U15s girl          Laura Finn (Sligo)     V           Rachel Doherty (Mayo)
                              15-7               15-2
Laura made easy work of the opposition and she should go on to better things in the final next Monday

U16s girl        Sinead Naughton (Sligo)    V Niamh Neyret   (Mayo)
                     6-15   15-2     15-4
well what can be said about this game it was a game of serves which Niamh won in the first game, but Sinead showed what she is made of in the 2nd when she served lovely and got into her stride , the 3rd game was a bit 1 sided but Sinead will have to lift it to another level in the final
