The Junior team had a narrow win over Ballymote in a high scoring game on Tuesday last in Ballymote . The final score was Ballymote 5-10, St. Farnan`s 3-17.Finian Cawley made his debut with this team and scored a magnificent tally of 1-13. The minor team played St. Molaise Gaels in the first round of the championship on Thursday night in Grange and enjoyed a good win .The final score was St. Molaise Gaels 1-16, St. Farnan`s 2-15.
 The under 14 team played Tourlestrane in the B league semi final on Friday. This was a cracking game of football which saw Tourlestrane race into a big lead in the early stages of the first half scoring 4 goals in succession. At half time the score was Tourlestrane 6-4 to 3-6 for St. Farnan`s. St. Farnan`s showed great courage and determination in the second half and battled hard. Tourlestrane held out, however and won on a score of 7-6 to 4-10.
The under 12 team play local rivals Easkey on Tuesday night at 7 p.m. in Easkey.
Well done to St. Farnan`s Ladies under 12 team on winning the league final. Congrats also to Patrick O`Connor, Eamonn Kilgannon , Fergal Ryan and the Sligo under 16 team on their second win in the Manning Cup. The team defeated Longford by 6-12 to 2-7. The team play Westmeath on Wednesday next. Well done to James Hynes, Gareth Ryan and the Sligo team on their win over Wicklow in the qualifiers.
