The Annual Club Fun day on Saturday last was a great success with our young players, boys and girls, from U6 to U12 providing  some great entertainment for a good sized crowd. Thanks to the Gillen, Hoey, Herron and Gilmartin families for presenting the Perpetual Cups on the day to the winning teams. .  The contest to find out who St Molaise Gaels fittest Family were are saw the Harrisons from Cliffoney narrowly overcome the challenge of the Watters family from Grange and the McLaughlins representing Maugherow. The Annual coaches game saw Donegal with Player Manager Sean Herron to the fore overcoming a stiff challenge from a Kerry side while the days proceedings concluded with the launch of Balloons.

Thanks to everyone who supported the days activities. Sincere thanks to all who bought and sold Balloons for what is one of our major Bord na nOg fundraising events. Thanks also to all those who provided refreshements during the day for the large crowd which was much appreciated by all in attendance. Finally thanks also to all the Coaches who marked the end of the years Club activity by organising the games on the day and taking part in the coaches match.

Work has continued on the development of our new Underage Pitch over recent weeks and is now well ahead of schedule and the work to date was much admired by those who attended last Saturdays activities..  Our main fundraising initiative for this Project is the sale of Plots on the new pitch at a cost of 100 euro each with the name of each Purchaser recorded on a a Plaque adjacent to the new facility. Anyone interested in purchasing a Plot can contact Thomas Kilfeather at 087-2626849 for details. We would particularly appeal to families of the huge number of children availing of coaching under our excellent Bord na nOg structures for their support with this venture.

Sympathy is extended to the Rooney family Grange on the death of Albertus Rooney New York
