Bord na nOg Club Annual  Presentation Night will take place tonight Tuesday Feb 24th at 7.30pm in the Clubhouse. Medals will be presented to successful teams at underage level in 2014 Girls U16 C League winners, Boys U14 Shield League winners, Boys U12 North Division League and Boys U10 Aodh Ruadh  Tournament Shield winners.

Our senior Players are currently organising the Clubs 2015 Sports Prediction Quiz with €800 in Prizes. Covering 24 Major Sporting events across the year this should prove a very interesting competition. entries available from any Member of our senior football panel with a €10 entry fee.
 
Senior Scor will take place on March 7th on Kilmacowen Hall Coolera at 7.00pm with the Connacht finals scheduled for March 28th.

Underage Coaching for Boys and Girls is scheduled to resume on Saturday March 7th. Anyone who missed Registration Night last week will have an opportunity to do so on these Saturday mornings. 
 
Our senior teams opening  2015 league fixture saw St Mary's emerge comprehensive 3-10 to 0-06 winners at Kent Park on Sunday last. Gaels trailed 1-09 to 0-03  at the interval and any prospects of a second half comeback were over with the concession of an early goal . Best for Gaels were Dara Fallon and Alan McLaughlin. Next Saturday February 28th the team entertain Calry/St Josephs in the Kiernan Cup. Throw in at Monsignor Hynes Park is 3.45pm.
 
Our main fundraising venture this year will be a Club Lotto which will be run every fortnight. The first draw takes place on next Monday March 2nd. Entries will be 2 euro per line or 3 lines for 5 euro. Our first Jackpot will be 500 euro with an increase of 100 euro for the subsequent draw if the Jackpot is not won. 2 consolation prizes of 50 euro vouchers will be drawn if the Jackpot is not won. Volunteers to help out one weekend in every twelve weekends are urgently required to ensure this venture is a success. Anyone interested in helping out please give their name to Sean Herron or Thomas Kilfeather. Tickets will be available from Club Officers and in local business premises over the coming week.

The Club extends sincere sympathies to the O'Connell family Mt Edward and Kilminchy Co. Laois on the death of Mrs Christina O'Connell mother of our Bord na nOg Secretary Niall.
