Our Senior Men got their second win of the Division 1 league when they beat neighbors, Curry, by the minimum, on a score of 1-13 to 2-9 on Sunday last. There is a break in action this weekend as the Kiernan Cup semi finals take place.
Best of luck to Sligo Senior Men who play Tipperary on Sunday at 3pm in Semple Stadium, Thurles. 

Our Senior Hurlers set out to defend their Dermot Molloy title this Sunday when they take on Naomh Eoin at 12pm in Kent Park. We wish the team and management all the best for the coming league campaign. 

Congratulations to Senior Ladies player, Grainne Carty, on winning her second O'Connor Cup medal. Grainne was a member of the University of Limerick team who overcame DCU in the elite final in Cork at the weekend. 

Well done to Sligo Minors on their second round win over Galway in the Connacht league on Saturday last, final score 1-9 to 0-9. The club was represented through Darren Leonard, Rian Kennedy (0-4), Liam Gaughan (0-3), Ciaran Walsh, Darren O'Hara and Richie Lang. The team play this Saturday at 5pm in Markievicz Park.

Hard luck to Barry Walsh, John Carr, Cathal Henry, Oisin Kennedy and Kenneth Gavighan who were part of the Sligo U-21 team who suffered defeat to Roscommon in the Connacht Semi Final on Wednesday last.  

Sligo Ladies play Tipperary in Markievicz Park this Saturday, the 28th of March, at 2pm. Sligo Ladies are starting a new initiative in connection with the LGFA with a 3 Day Easter Camp just for girls.The camp will be coached exclusively by the Sligo Ladies Team. The camp will run from the 31st of March - 2nd of April, 10am to 2pm in Sligo IT. To avail of the early bird offer, &30 for the three days, text your daughters name and age to 085 7566724.

The club would like to offer its deepest sympathies to the Lundy family, Tourlestrane, on the death of Martin. May he rest in peace. 

Our U-16 boys round 2 game was postponed on Sunday last.  The team play round 3 of the league on Sunday at 11.30am in Nace O'Dowd park. We wish U-16 manager, David Bailey a speedy recovery after he sustained an ankle injury recently.
