"Hero of the week" this week goes to Conor Meade who broke his arm while bravely defending,  playing for the u12's. Get well soon Conor.
Our u 16's had a great Championship win over Easkey beating the Westerners by 3-11 to 3-09.
Also out west this week, the Nursery Programme teams of u6, u8 and u10's all recorded excellent victories over Enniscrone.
The Minor ladies take on St Pats at 7pm on Tuesday in their  Championship fixture. Good luck girls.
Lots of Senior games this weekend with 3 teams in Championship action and the Senior team in League action.
Saturday evening saw the Hurlers easily defeat old foes Naomh Eoin in the Championship by 4-16 to 0-08.
A "Triple Header" at Hazelwood on Sunday firstly saw the Ladies defeat Shamrock Gaels in Championship by 2 pts.
Next up was the Senior lads who lost to Tourlestrane in round 7of the league.  The Juniors however atoned in their Championship fixture against the same club with a fine win beating the Tourlestrane outfit by a single point. Calry/St Josephs 2-07,
Tourlestrane 1-09.
Hard luck to our lads and the Sligo Minors who lost out to Galway in the Connacht Final replay and best of luck to Sligo who get back to Croke Park on Saturday next.
Best of luck also to Keith Raymond who represents Connacht in the Puc Fada in the Cooley Mountains.
A "Healthy Club" event will take place at Eastern Harps pitch in Kesh on Friday evening at 7.30pm. The event,  hosted by Gerard Lynch will have talks on Nutrition, Mental health and Fitness.
