The seniors resumed their Division 2 campaign with an emphatic 3-19 to 1-6 win over an understrength Enniscrone/Kilglass at Oxfield on Sunday.

The team led by 0-9 to 0-3 at half-time with second half goals from Niall Collery, Jamie Gillen and Kevin Davey helping to put the game out of our opponents reach. With two matches remaining in Division two, we trail joint leaders Bunninadden and Geevagh by a point so the remaining games against our promotion rivals will be key.

Our Benson Cup campaign resumes this Sunday with a trip to St Farnan's at 2pm. Last Sunday's team was: Justin Lyons, Jude McGarry, Stephen Regan, Aaron McCormack, Dara Long, Jamie Gillen, Seán Peyton, Brian Monaghan,  Ógie Murphy, Niall Canning, Paul Logan, Kevin Davey, Niall Collery, Paddy Gormley, Ian O’Dowd. Sub used: Tommy Finnegan.

The Junior footballers collected their second victory in Division 4 with an impressive 2-15 to 0-14 win against Calry/St Joseph’s in Hazelwood last Friday evening. We host Coolaney/Mullinabreena on Saturday evening in Oxfield. Throw-in: 7pm.

Our U12 girls played their hearts out in a very entertaining 'A' league semi-final against Tourlestrane at Oxfield last Sunday. The team's effort fell just short with Tourlestrane winning by a single point. We wish them every success in Tuesday's final - and well done to both sets of players who produced a memorable contest.

An impressive all round team display saw our U16 girls enjoy a comprehensive win over Eastern Harps last Wednesday to stay in the hunt for a place in the league play-offs. That's two wins out of four in the league. Our final group game is against St Mary's. Date and time tbc. Team: Rachel Quigley, Catlyn Greene, Zara Mulrooney, Lisa Morrow, Ava Harte, Aisling O'Reilly, Sarah Kisby, Ella McDermott, Grace Casserly, Kate Keyes (C), Megan Brady, Carol-Ann Monaghan, Molly Brady, Eimear Colreavy, Sinéad Regan, Faye Finnegan, Eve Scanlon, Saibh McCarthy, Lilly-Rose Leydon, Eva Butler, Tara Donohoe.

The club will be holding another clothes recycling day in early July so please keep the old school uniforms/unwanted clothes gathered over the next few weeks. We will have use for them.

We host Coolera/Strandhill in an U8/U10 blitz this Wednesday evening in Oxfield at 7pm. All players are asked to assemble by 6:45pm.
