Cloonacool/Tubbercurry U12 division one footballers are away to Owenmore Gaels on Tuesday 17th April at 6.30 pm, also the division 3 team play the same opposition at the same venue on the same evening. Our Junior team are at home to Eastern Harps in the third round league division 3 game on Sunday next in the community park at 2 pm. All support for the lads would be very much appreciated. Congrats to local athlete Mari Johnston who secured 1st place in the women's national 10k road race in Dublin last week-end. The Sligo minor footballers played out a draw in a challenge game with Fermanagh last weekend. Our club were represented by local lads Rian Moylan and Sean Carnahan, well done lads. Sligo U16 team also played Fermanagh last weekend also in a challenge match and our club was represented by the very busy Eoin Carty. Well done Eoin. Congrats to Emma Gallagher Sessuegarry and Anthony Flannery Dublin who announced their engagement recently. Sympathy is extended to the family, relatives and friends of the late Donal Kirby of Easkey, who went to his eternal reward last weekend.The late Donie was the assistant secretary of the Sligo Co. Board, and also the secretary of the competitions control committee. He has been very active in G.A.A. activities all his life, and has been a great servant to Sligo hurling for many years.
