The Senior Team got the Intermediate Championship of to a winning start with a 2-13 to 0-8 win over Ballymote. The team was: Daniel Lyons, Ben Tuohy, Evan Lyons, Andrew Flynn, Gavin McMorrow, Paul Higgins (0-1), Karl McKenna (0-1), Michael Kilkenny, David Quinn (1-4), Ciaran O'Connor (0-2), Brian Boyd (0-1), James Carroll (0-1), Shane Deignan, Darragh Hailstones (0-3), Keith McMorrow. Subs: Joe Henry for B Tuohy, Declan Willis for G McMorrow, Frank Quinn (1-0) for G McMorrow, Daire Kearns for C O'Connor, Dillon McDermott for M Kilkenny, Patrick Benson for K McKenna. They now take on Geevagh in round 2 on Saturday week 18th August. The winner of the half time draw was Dylan McMorrow

The minor boys play Enniscrone/Kilglass/Easkey on Thursday at 7PM in Enniscrone while the MInor Girls play Eastern Harps in Keash on Wednesday at 7PM. 

The U16 boys lost narrowly to Enniscrone/Kilglass/Easkey last Monday on a scoreline of 2-15 to 5-7. The team was:- Gareth Keville, Aodhan Eivers, Adam Kearns, Conor Sheridan, Aaron McKenna, Jason Kilkenny, David Barlow, Lee Duignan, Daniel Murphy, Conor McMorrow, Jay Rogers, Shane Dwyer, Eoin Dwyer, Conor Kearns Subs: Ryan Thompson, Andrew McGreevy, Charlie Mullen. They now play Eastern Harps away on Monday 6th at 7PM. 

The U16 girls lost by two points to Owenmore Gaels last Thursday. 

The U14 boys got their championship off to a winning start on Friday last with a 3-13 to 2-7 win over Tubbercurry/Cloonacool. The team was: Jack Duignan, Ryan Parke, Sam Tuohy, Oisin Conlon, Dylan McKenna, Jamie Parke, Daniel King, Keelan Brehony, Conor Sheridan, Troy Gilgarro, Conor McMorrow (0-5), Andrew Barlow, Ciaran Kenny (1-3), Brian Dwyer (2-1), James Foley (0-4). Subs Jack Tuohy, Niall Kenny, George Barlow, Aaron Conlon, Nathan Wimsey. 

The U14 girls are due to play Eastern Harps this week in the first round of championship at a date to be confirmed while the U12 girls play Tourlestrane on Friday at home at 7PM. 

The U8/U10 play a blitz in Scarden this week. 

The next clothes collection will be at the end of August, any donations can be left into the clubhouse. 

The lotto jackpot stands at €4,300 with the next draw this Saturday 11th August.
