The Junior Ladies lost 6-4 to 2-10 away to St Farnans in the last group game of the Championship meaning that three teams ended up on equal points. After an open draw, the Gaels get a bye to the final and take on the winners of Curry and St Farnans who contest the semi-final. The team was: Meabh McDermott, Lisa O'Callaghan (Isobel Clark), Aisling Boyd, Catherine Tuohy, Roisin Durey, Aoife Morrisroe, Naomh Quinn, Jade Lyons (1-1), Siobhan Brennan, Erin Mullaney (1-2), Lousie Merrick (0-1), Roisin Kearns (0-1), Rachel Boyd (0-3), Simone Kelly (0-2), Mairead Tuohy (Fiona Baker). Subs: Aoife O'Connor, Jane Benson, Seana Durey, Aoife Brennan.   

The Senior men have been drawn against the winners of Ballymote and Enniscrone in the semi-final of the Intermediate Championship,

The minor boys play Curry in their final group game of the championship this Friday evening at 6.30PM in Coola. 

The U16 girls lost to CT Gaels in their final group game of the championship last Thursday. This result sees their season draw to a close. Thanks to the Girls for all their work throughout the year and to the management team of Aoife O'Conner, Simone Kelly and Tom Faughnan for their work with the team. 

The U16 boys play Castleconner this Monday in Coola in the B Shield semi-final at 6.30PM. 

The U14 boys had a busy week playing St Mary's in their final group game on Monday losing by 4-8 to 3-4. The team was:- Jack Duignan, Oisin Conlon, Conor Sheridan, Niall Kenny, Daniel King, Jamie Parke, George Barlow, Andrew Barlow, Keelan Brehony, Dylan McKenna,  Conor McMorrow (0-2), Troy Gilgarro, Ciaran Kenny, Brian Dwyer, James Foley (3-2) Subs: Jack Tuohy, Aaron Conlon, Ryan Parke, Nathan Wimsey. They then had a playoff with Tubbercurry on Friday for a place in the cup semi-final. It was a close encounter with the Gaels running out winners on a scoreline of 4-12 to 3-8. The team was: Jack Duignan, Ciaran Kenny (0-1), Conor Sheridan, Ryan Parke, Niall Kenny, Jamie Parke, George Barlow, Sam Tuohy, Andrew Barlow (0-1), Daniel King (1-1), Troy Gilgarro, Keelan Brehony, Conor Mc Morrow (2-5), Brian Dwyer, James Foley (1-3) subs: Dylan McKenna (0-1), Jack Tuohy, Oisin Conlon, Aaron Conlon, Nathan Wimaey. They now play Castleconnor away this Friday at 6.30PM in the A semi-final. 

Hard luck to the U12 girls who lost narrowly to CT Gaels in the B final in a tight low scoring encounter. The team was:- Hannah Hargadon, Lyn Barlow, Louise Robertson, Sophie Swan, Sophie Williams,  Leanne Galvin, Ciara Gilligan, Beth Candon, Hannah Sheridan, Clara McGovern, Amy Malone (1), Katie Brehony, Anna Bagnall (1),  Isobel Foley, Zara Barlow, Amy Brehony Subs: Aibheann Conlon, Amy Bagnall, Lilly Barber, Ruby O'Sullivan, Leah Mullaney, Hayley Mullaney, Harriot Byrne, Amber Somers, Grace Kelly, Maja Wojciechowska, Hannah Rainey. Thanks to managers Enda Candon, Marina Swan and Brenda Crowley for all their hard work and dedication with this age group over the last few years. 

Well done to the U8/10's who played Geevagh last Wednesday in our final game of the year. A great evening's football was had and thanks to Geevagh for their hospitality. This Saturday 15th sees our u6/8/10 final outdoor training session. The children will play display games followed by refreshments. Looking forward to seeing everyone there. We will be running a six week indoor program on Friday evenings for boys and girls u6/8 - more details next week. 

Our G4M&O hosted a very successful fun blitz last Sunday. Thanks to Curry, Ballymote, St Farnans, Eastern Harps, Melvin Gaels, Kilturbit and Dromahair for attending.

There was no winner of the lotto draw this week. The numbers drawn were 3, 5, 14 and 27 with one match 3, Michael Tuohy. The next draw will be on 22nd September in Des McDonaghs with the jackpot at €4,600.
