OsKars Night.
It's coming back. Tubbercurry are having a showing of their very successful OsKars night in St. Brigids Hall on Friday 19th at 8:30 for all those who missed the night in The Sligo Park Hotel and for those who just want to re-live the fun of it all. It will be on a first come basis and the cost is E10/seat. Refreshments will be served on the night. So please spread the word.
Condolences.
It’s been a tough week in South Sligo with the passing of two young people in their prime.
On Saturday 29th we learned of the sudden passing of Sharon Walsh McCann, mother of senior and minor player Oisin.We would like to pass on our condolences to Oisin, Kayleigh, Leah and all her family and friends. May she rest in peace.
On Friday the 5th our wonderful neighbour from Cloonacool Maurice Conboy passed away after a long battle with illness. Maurice served Cloonacool as coaching officer and coach and also as a coach with CT Gaels. Through these close links he made a lasting impression on everyone he met from players to coaches to parents and we’re all the better for having had him as part of our lives.
To Geraldine, Gerard and Patrice and the extended family we pass on our condolences. Rest In Peace dear friend.
