New Year.
We would like to wish all our members, families and friends from near and far a Happy New Year.
Congrats.
Congratulations to our clubman Steven Gilmartin and his wife Aine on their recent marriage. Congrats also to Colm Mcgee and Una Clarke and Dermot Walsh and Kelly Hayes who announced their engagements.
We would like to wish the couples many years of good health and happiness.

🏁🏁Tubbercurry GAA/Ireland Lights up. 🏁🏁
In a bid to make exercise more accessible on the dark winter nights, β€˜Ireland Lights Up’ will see participating clubs turn on their floodlights/lighting systems between 7-pm-9pm each Thursday for a six-week period (17th January – 21st February, 2019) as Operation Transformation returns to our screens in the New Year .

Each Thursday, club and community members will be invited to come together at participating clubs to walk off the Christmas excess, catch up with their neighbours, and banish the winter blues. (Walking is proven to benefit both our physical and mental health.) GAA clubs are already becoming hubs for health through the Healthy Clubs Project, with at least one Healthy Club in each county.
As our club officers have been approached by a number of interested parents and members and we have our own club man Paul Murphy as a leader we have registered Tubbercurry as a participating club and are all set to go . Please spread the word to those members not on social media and we ask that on our first night Thursday 17th January all interested walkers meet at 6:30pm to sign up and we will have a brief chat about the walks. We will start with the Thursday nights at the pitch and will add another depending on the interest. So spread the word and see you Jan 17th . Watch the page for updates. For more information contact club chairman Dermot Gannon🏁🏁🏁🏐🏐.
