Best of luck to Jesus and Mary Secondary School, Enniscrone, in their Connacht Post Primary C football final this Wednesday. They take on Scoil Mhuire of Strokestown in the decider on Thursday, March 14th, at 11am in the Connacht GAA Centre at Bekan.

County scene

Gavin Duffy and Oisin Hynes were both involved in the Sligo minor footballers win over with Fermanagh in the Ulster Minor League last Saturday. The team is managed by Michael Duffy.

Best wishes to the organising committee for the annual St Patrick’s Day Parade in Enniscrone which starts at 1pm next Sunday. This year’s theme is pride of place in anticipation of the upcoming plebiscite on the Placename of Enniscrone.

There was no winner of last weekend’s blotto draw. Next Saturday’s draw in Hopkins Enniscrone will be for a jackpot of €6200.
