Geevagh intermediate footballers made it
two wins form two with an impressive 3:16 – 0:13 defeat of St Pats in Skreen on
Saturday evening. The game featured impressive contributions from newcomers
Daniel Devine, Declan Cunnane and Cathal Corcoran.
The senior ladies overcame Drumcliffe on
Sunday morning. Their next outing is a cup semi-final against St Marys in
Geevagh next Sunday at 10:30am.
It was a good week for our u12s with our
girls defeating Eastern Harps and our boys overcoming the challenge of
Castleconnor. The u14 girls also had an impressive victory over Ballisodare on
Monday, however, our u16 boys lost out to Ballymmote on Wednesday evening.
This Wednesday our u8s and u10s make the
trip to Calry for what promises to be an exciting evenings entertainment, while
on Thursday Geevagh/St Michaels minors travel to Keash to take on Eastern
Harps.
