A big thank-you to everybody who helped our with our bag packing fundraiser in Dunnes Stores at the weekend. The monies raised will go towards the development of the Rathcormac training pitches.

Our senior men’s footballers were beaten by Calry/St Joseph’s at Oxfield on Sunday evening, on a final scoreline of 4-10 to 1-10. It’s a result which effectively scuppers our promotion prospects this season. We are away to St Pat’s in our final league game next Sunday afternoon at 2pm.

Our boys under 12 teams travel to play Tubbercurry/Cloonacool in the league this Tuesday evening at 7pm.

This Saturday July 13th will be the final nursery coaching session at Rathcormac NS before we take a short summer break. Coaching will resume towards the end of August. Parents/guardians will be notified by parents/guardians accordingly.

The Kellogg’s GAA Cúl Camp takes place next week (July 15-19) at Oxfield. This very popular camp is open to boys and girls aged 6-13 years. You can still book a place on the Cúl Camp website via gaa.ie.

Benbulben Gaels u14 hurlers will play Naomh Eoin in the U14 hurling league final on July 17th in Scarden.

Our girls under 16 footballers began their 2019 ‘A’ championship campaign with a narrow 6-11 to 5-11 loss to Eoghan Rua in their opening round-robin. DRP are in a six-team group. Their next game is against Calry/St Joseph’s on July 15th.

The girls minor footballers begin their championship campaign on July 17th against Shamrock Gaels. It’s a busy week too for our All-Ireland Féile winning girls U14 footballers as they face Eoghan Rua this week in their opening U14 championship game.
