The whole area is in deep sadness as we mourn the loss of Regina Scott, a young wife and mother. We extend our heartfelt sympathy to her husband Tomas ,her children Jade, Emma and Holly and to the extended Scott and Devaney family. At Dheis Dé go raibh sí.
St. Farnan's/ St. Pat's minor team are through to the final of the A shield following a comprehensive win over Tubbercurry/Cloonacool in Templeboy on Thursday last. The score was St. Farnan's/ St. Pat's 3-25, Tubbercurry/Cloonacool 2-13. Despite the score this was a very competitive game  and it wasn't until the second half that the home side showed their dominance. At half time Tubbercurry/Cloonacool led by a point, 2-9 to 1-11. Our goal came early in the game courtesy of Fergal Curran.
After the break scores came much easier and points were added at will. Tubbercurry/Cloonacool  to their credit, didn't give up and might have added a third goal to their tally ,but for excellent defence work by Shane Molloy. St. Farnan's/St Pat's will be happy with their overall performance and the amount of scores from play.
The team was Jack Cadden, Shane Molloy (0-2), Jamie O'Carroll, Adam Kilrehill, Canice Mulligan, Paul Clarke, Daire Williams (0-3(1f), Conor Keaveney(0-1), Fionn Connolly (0-2), Thomas Cawley (0-6(1f), Eoin Gordon, Jim Davis (2-5(1f), Fergal Curran (1-5). Congratulations to our former secretary Fr. Brian Conlon on the golden jubilee of his ordination. He was an integral part of the committee who oversaw the purchase of the club grounds in 1980 and he  also played a very prominent role in the promotion of Scór within the club. We extend our best wishes to him.
