Shamrock Gaels v Tourlestrane
Two teams that are getting to know each other so well at senior level meet this weekend in the Junior championship showing the size of their panels. Gaels have been competitive but have not got a win having lost in the end to Molaise Gaels. Tourlestrane are strong at this grade and no more than Dublin have a number of lads using this grade to push claims for inclusion in the senior team which will take them over the winning line here
Tourlestrane
Owenmore Gaels v St.Molaise Gaels
Both teams are still in the frame to go through to the knockout stages. This was expected of the Colloney team but with all the injuries that Molaise have had this was unexpected. However Owenmore will be expected to have a comfortable victory here and confirm their top of the table status in the group
Owenmore Gaels
Eastern Harps v St.Michael's
A true championship game with victory needed to progress in the championship for both teams. A draw and Harps are through. Michaels defence was dismantled by Cloonacool in a high scoring game in the previous round. Harps were eventually disposed of in a los scoring game by the same opposition and this leads me to believe that Michael's have the ability to score more but will need to do the damage early in the game as Harps fitness and doggedness will come to the fore as the game progresses
