Easkey v Castleconnor
As with the last round where I said Farnan's do not beat Easkey in championship, currently the cycle is the same between Easkey and Castleconnor. With Joe McHugh back from Boston and Rory McHugh and Dylan Sloyan back from injury Easkey will be expecting for that to continue. Mikie Gordon has been in great form this championship in all games and young Andrew Kilcullen has been showing strongly throughout the games. Seán Carrabine is back for Castleconnor too which will  be a huge lift for the red and white but they will be hoping that Kevin Langan and Eamon Cawley keep up their form from the previous rounds. This is a very tight group with a lot of draws.

Curry v St.Farnan's
Both teams are undefeated however it is two draws for Farnans and two wins for Curry. Both teams have returning stars with Red Óg back for Curry and Paddy O'Connor and Eamonn Kilgannon back for the men from the west. Curry have struggled at midfield in their games so far but have a lethal forward line. Farnans are playing a more measured attacking game and Finian Cawley has been outstanding so far but the amount of attacking talent means that Curry should score more than they let in.

St.Patrick's v Bunninadden
Will Bunninadden get a penalty in this game and will they score it. It is hard to believe the number they have missed this year including two in their last game with Geevagh. It would not have changed the result there however it will if it occurs in this game. Bunninadden are not getting the scores required to win championship games. Pat's have improved during the rounds and were unlucky against Enniscrone in the previous round who now top the group. This also has the added pressure of being effectively a relegation playoff with the loser expected to contest the relegation final. How will both teams handle that.

Pats

Geevagh v St.John's
Two teams who would be expecting to win the title clash on Sunday afternoon with both having suffered losses in their previous games. Geevagh though appear to have found a better way though and with the Wall brothers in excellent form and Daithai O'Reilly playing a free role they have looked impressive going forward. Johns take a bit more out of the ball and will their inside forward line be able to stand up to the strength of the Geevagh back line is debatable. Johns do have a better overall panel however expect the Geevagh first 15 to see them through
