Senior Football;
Our senior footballers got back on the winning trail in Scarden on Sunday when they overcame the challenge of St Patricks in their final group game on a scoreline of 2 -15  to 1 - 10. This result means that they finish in 3rd place in the group, thus qualifying for the Championship quarter-final, which will be played on the weekend after next Sept 20th or 21st. This was a much improved performance from our lads and they ran out deserving winners after a hard fought game. We wish Conor Sweeney a speedy recovery from what looked like a fairly serious  shoulder injury. St Johns lineout ; J Mc Donagh; A Clerkin, E Roche, C Sweeney; J Sayers, D Burke, F Murphy; P McNamara, C Jordan; C Greene, R Mc Manus B Mc Gowan; C Harrison, R Gordon, A Keane.
