Senior Hurling Championship Final:

Following our semifinal win over Western Gaels two weeks ago our senior hurlers have been preparing for Sunday's senior hurling championship final in Markievicz Park versus Easkey. Throw in is 4pm.
The team management, led by coach John Doyle, is preparing for a tough battle as he compete in our second final in two years. In 2018 we reached our first senior final in 20 years, losing out to a determined Coolera Strandhill team.
This year we again are aiming for our first ever Sligo SHC title in what was a super competitive championship to date. In the group stages a last gasp free from dual county player Gerard O'Kelly-Lynch ensured we shared the points with our final opponents. A tight and exciting encounter is again expected on Sunday.
We are hopeful we can bring home the title with the backing of our loyal supporters.

U-14 Hurling Championship Final:

Hard luck our gallant U-14 #hurling team last Friday night in Scarden.
We're proud of our talented team who had  won both Feile and league trophies this year before suffering a narrow defeat in the championship final this evening to Benbulben Gaels 5-3 to 3-4, who were the better team on the night. We led 2-3 to 1-3 at half time but the Gaels fought back with 4 straight goals to take the lead. Robert O'Kelly-Lynch converted a late 1-1 but the final whistle came too early for a comeback.
Many thanks to team mentors Bill O'Kelly-Lynch and Jason Hargadon for their dedication and inspiration.
Team and scorers: Thomas Hargadon; Aodhán Shovelin, Stefan Roche, Matthew Mulholland; Harry Cawley,  Corey O'Dowd, Conor Golden; Robert O'Kelly-Lynch (1-3), Ronan Niland; Rian O'Shea (1-0), Eli Rooney (0-1), Tom Walsh; Liam Hargadon, Dara Mostyn (1-0), Patrick Murphy.
Sub: Cameron McDaniel.

Juvenile Blitz and U12 Hurling Skills Challenge:

Congratulations to Easkey winners of last night's U12 Sligo GAA skills challenge, winning with just a point to spare over Molaise Gaels with our Naomh Eoin lads third just 2 points further behind.
Well done to our representatives Patrick Brady, Ewan Boland, Rian O'Shea and Liam Hargadon.
Many thanks to our coaches Bill O'Kelly-Lynch and Jason Hargadon for their work and dedication with our juvenile teams.
Also thanks to Darragh Cox our hardworking Sligo Hurling GDO for his efficient organisation of the blitz and skills challenge.
In total 8 clubs & 32 hurlers took part in tough weather conditions.
