Our Intermediate footballers secured their championship status with a 2-17 to 1-9 win over St Michael's in Dromard last Saturday evening. Under pressure in the first half at times, the game was level midway through the opening period but with two goals after half-time and St Michael's finishing the game with 12 players our lads ended as winners. It brings to an end to the season and an ultimately disappointing championship campaign but it is a big relief to retain our championship status after a tough few weeks. Thanks to the management team of Michael Duffy, Fergus Sweeney, Paddy Martin, Declan Hughes and Michael Gordon for their massive effort throughout the year. Thanks also to the panel of players for their time and commitment.

The Enniscrone/Kilglass/St Patrick's U-16s will play Easkey/St Farnan's in the final of the 'B' Championship. A date, time and venue had yet to be confirmed at the time of writing.

Well done to the Western Gaels U-14 hurlers on winning their cup final against Drumcliffe/Rosses Point last Friday.
