Once again Connolly Motor Group will deliver a critical part of the support function for the Sligo Senior football team for the 2020 season by delivering the Team Kit van decked out in the impressive team colours.

For a number of years now Connolly Motor Group have been associated with the Senior football team and County Board Treasurer Peter Greene acknowledged this when he stated that “this Sponsorship was a very practical way to support the Senior team in the coming season”.

A representative of the Group said “they were delighted to be able to support Sligo GAA for 2020. The group have sites based in Sligo, Mayo and Galway and are the authorised dealers for Volkswagen, Audi, Seat and Mercedes-Benz. Connolly Volkswagen are proud to be able to show our continued support to Sligo GAA for 2020 and wish them well in the concluding matches of the National League and against Galway in the Connaught Championship”.

Regular Kit man John McPartland took possession of the keys of the new vehicle from Stephen Kearns (Commercial Vehicle Manager) at a handover ceremony at the Group Headquarters in Sligo earlier this week also attended by County Treasurer Peter Greene.
